Hiking or trekking on mountain routes is generally characterized by compatible outdoor activity and presents no technical difficulties during the route. It is the crossing of landmarks and exploring the mountainous nature and terrain, not necessarily interested in the ascent to the peaks. It combines mild aerobic exercise with mental relaxation and enjoyment of nature on the mountainous countryside. Join us and you will hike in historic spots, old cobblestone streets or just trails through the woods, while you will have the magnificent views of the mountains. We offer mountain day trips and multiple days trekking plans. There are degrees of difficulty for each route and a beginner should start with mild routes.
Routes at Ymittos mountain

Description : Ymittos is a mountain range in Athens stretching from the north to the south of the city. In antiquity there was a sanctuary to Zeus Ombrios (Zeus the Rain God) on the summit with numerous offerings dating especially to the 8th-7th centuries BC. Almost all of Athens, its eastern suburbs and the new airport can be seen from the mountain top along with the mountains of Parnitha to its north-west, Penteli to its north and Aegaleo to its west. The valley areas that create the lowest passes are mostly to the south. The mountain offers great hiking trails on pine tree forest with great view, more than 60 caves and cave systems, byzantine monasteries, a botanic collection mountain garden, mountain huts and even a lake.

Routes at Parnitha mountain
Activity duration : 5-6 hours depending on the route.
Description: Mt. Parnitha is the closest mountain to Athens and the only National Park in Europe so close to a capital (40km). The National Park of Parnitha hides many secrets that few people know. So close to the city of Athens find refuge 42 mammals among them wolves, deer, wild boar, foxes and many kinds of reptiles and birds. The flora is mainly forests of pine trees and fir trees along with herbs and bushes along the routes. There are numerous hiking trails on the mountain of varied difficulty that are suitable for every hiker and adventurer.

Routes at Penteli mountain
Activity duration : 3-4 hours depending on the route.
Description: Even since antiquity, Mount Pentelico has been famous for its marble, which was used for the construction of the Acropolis and other buildings of ancient Athens. Pentelic marble is flawless white with a uniform, faint yellow tint, which makes it shine with a golden hue under sunlight. A mountain with ancient and modern quarries, caves and a local folk story that still carries on. On this half day trip we will do an easy hike, we will pass from the ancient quarries and we will visit the cave of Penteli or cave of Ntavelis. At the entrance there are two abandoned orthodox churches, old military structures, on forest terrain and mountain trails.

Routes at Thorikos and Laurio
Activity duration : 4-5 hours depending on the route.
Description: Join us on an adventure hiking and outdoor exploring tour at Laurio area and the archaeological site of Thorikos. Laurio area was famous from antiquity for the silver mines and galleries and has a strong tradition of metallurgy and history that dates back to 2.500 BC. We will start our geo tour at Thorikos area, where we will visit the ancient theatre, the entrance of an ancient Stoa (mining tunnel) and the workshop area of the archaeological site. We will also see traces of a defensive tower and the temple of Demeter that are still visible. We will continue exploring the Velatouri hill where we will walk to the summit and enjoy the sea view. On the way down the hill, we will visit the Mycenaean tombs of the area and entrances of ancient mining galleries. We will continue to the chasm of Chaos, where we will walk circularly on a fenced track at the edge of the collapsed cave. During this exploration tour we will have the opportunity to see and admire from close a vast selection of rocks and minerals of Lavreotiki area, while our guide will tell you about the history of Laurio mining galleries and minerals along with the process of metallurgy. Routes at Akrokorinth
Activity duration : 4 -5 hours depending on the route.
Description: We will start from the archaeological site of the Akrokorinthos, heading south-west to the castle of Penteskoufi. It is a small castle on a rocky hill of 476 meters across from Akrokorinthos. It was built by the Franks in 1205, to facilitate the siege of Akrokorinthos. Return to the starting point and hiking to the fortification position of Akrokorinthos at an altitude of 575 meters. The hill is fortified with 3 different levels of fortifications from different eras, following the terrain and the morphology of the soil. This combined with the great slopes, made the fortress invulnerable during antiquity but also up to the newer times. The castle with different levels, marbles, towers and bastions has a unique architectural and historical value. One could say that it is divided into 2 regions, the hill with the temple of Aphrodite and the other with the medieval buildings. From the hill with the sanctuary of Aphrodite, one can understand the strategic value of the castle as it controls both sides of the Corinth Canal, with its two harbours, Lechaio (west) and Kechries (east). Within the area there are remnants of the Byzantine years and those of the Ottoman domination, houses, churches, mosques and other buildings. The natural water spring fountain found on the north side of the fortress is also an important site worth visiting.

Description
Day 1 - Only 1,5 hours drive from Athens, we will reach the mountain village of Steni in Euvoia island. Our starting point will be at Dirfis mountain hut. From there we can do a hiking route to Kserovouni peak or do the classical route to the summit and the twin volcanic peaks at an altitude of 1743 meters. Different routes can be done according to the participants experience and weather conditions. Accommodation can be arranged at the mountain hut, apartment or hotel in the area.

-Day 2 - We can arrange hiking trips to the surrounding summits in the area of Dirfis or do an explorations trip on the megalithic structures of Drakospita or Dragonhouses of Evia. There are more than 25 structures, located mostly in the south part of the island. They are pyramid shaped structures with no bonding materials between the huge rocks. There are many theories trying to give answers to the questions who, when and why built them on the rocky mountain terrain of Evia. Some have claimed that they were ancient sanctuaries to the gods, many believe that they were defensive structures and guard posts protecting the residents from invaders from the sea, with the stronger hypothesis that there were structures made from the workers of the quarries of the mountain on prohestoric times.

-Description
We will drive to Pieria and Litochoro in the Prionia hut at 1100m altitude. We will spend the night at the hut or hotel. On the second day we will depart in the morning to the hut of Spileos Agapitos at 2,100m altitude where we will have our second accommodation. On the third day we will start climbing to the summits of Mount Olympus, Mytikas, 2,918m altitude, or to the nearby peaks of Skala 2.866m and Skolio 2.911m. Return to the Agapitos hut and then to the hut at Prionia where the 3rd overnight will take place. The next morning after we get ready we will depart for Athens.
