Rafting at Nestos river

Service Description

Description : Nestos River is the natural boundary of geographic districts of Greek Macedonia and Thrace. It is a wide river with enough water volume winter - summer that gives us the opportunity to do rafting and canoe kayak all year round. We will meet at our facilities where we will give equipment and prepare equipment. After a short briefing about safety we will do a 10 km drive with our vehicles to the starting point. The route starts from a higher spot on the river and finishes at our base. Location : Paranesti Dramas. Distance from Athens : 680 km ~ 7,5 hours driving. Total activity duration : 3-5 hours Minimum attendance : 4 participants What's included : -Expert English speaking river guides. -Safety equipment( Neoprene suit and shoes, life jacket, helmet). -All local transfers.​​ What you should bring : Bag pack with water, snack, swim suit, second pair of shoes,,socks, t-shirt, towel. Other activities we can combine in the area : -Archery -Climbing in a wooden track of 8 meters height -Rappel from the bridge -Flying fox (zip line) 70 meters across the river banks.
